Bury Image Bank is a new online resource which allows you to look at images both old and new of Bury.

Bury Image Bank is a comprehensive image library containing a local history and archives database as well as images of modern day Bury.

The historical image section showcases pictures of streets and buildings from c. 1850 to the present day. Images are being added on a regular basis and increasingly show people and organisations from across the Borough.

The modern day Bury section contains up to date publicity shots and of local community events. This section will be built on month on month as events take place and will one day provide a detailed bank of images which will in the future form part of our archives.

The database is free to search and for personal non-commercial use, low-resolution images may be downloaded and printed free of charge. High quality photographic prints may be purchased through the online shopping basket. Publication or commercial use requires separate permission (please see site help for more information).

You can search the database by clicking on either button on the left. Clicking to enter the database will be classed as an acceptance of the terms and conditions of the site and you will be redirected to the main search page.
